After the big success of Indian Idol Series 1, 2, 3 , Indian Idol series 4 has been started. The Indian Idol - 4 has auditions in so many different cities like Kolkatta, Mumbai, Kolhapoor, Ahmadabad, Lucknow, Delhi and some more cities. In the first round of Indian Idol 100 are eliminated out of 176 and then again in duo's and Trio's round of theatre some are eliminated . Final 28 contestants are selected for the Indian Idol 4 contest.

The mega show started on 17 October and the contestants are divided into 15 girls and 15 boys and then again 3 groups of each. Three groups are named according the Previous Indian Idols as Abhijeet Sawant , Sandeep Aacharya and Prashant Tamang.

Here begins the journey of Indian Idol 4 and now everybody is trying their best , doing a lot of practice.  Four judges are Anu Malik, Sonali Bendre , Javed Akhthar and Kailash kher . Priyanka Chopra accompnied them for the first time. Remo is a fan of Priyanka chopra nd sung a song for her. Husian and Chang are hosting the Indian Idol 4.

Girls contestants are Ananya Mishra  a 17 year girl is from Varanasi and is a very good Dancer and singer and had won various awards through out the country. Bhavya Pandit  a 16 yr is from Mumbai and is fun loving girl . Puja Ghosh is from Kolkatta and very talkative. Shini Kalvint is a little different from all. She is married and is here with all her husbands support. Shini loves to sing when her husband play the instrument. Megha Sharma is from the pink city Jaipur and full of energy and loves to laugh. Torsha sarkar is from west Bengal and believes her voice is her strength.
